Anyone who is a scuba diver, or snorkel regularly knows that the best scuba mask is not just about comfort, it is about safety. Phwoar these are things nobody likes to think about but let’s face it. In this blog, I will be talking about why I decided to ditch my old diving mask for the Tusa Liberator Plus Scuba Mask, how easy it was, and what improvements it made to my life.

I have been diving for many years now, and in that time, I have gone through a lot of different diving masks. In my life, I have tried just about every brand and style out there, but my current favorite is the Tusa Liberator Plus Dive Mask. I switched to this mask recently and haven’t looked back since. Here is a first-hand review of why I love this mask. The model number of this mask is Tusa TM-5700.

The first thing I noticed when I put on the Tusa TM-5700 mask is that it fit very snugly to my face. This was a huge selling point for me because previous masks I have used have always had a bit of a gap between my face and the mask, which caused some water to leak in (not fun). With this, there is no such problem. It seals perfectly to my face, keeping all the water out.

Another feature that sold me on this mask is the wide field of view. With other masks, I always felt like I was missing something off to the side, but with the Liberator Plus, I can see everything clearly. This is especially useful when diving in groups because I can easily keep an eye on everyone around me.

I really appreciate how easy it is to clear. I purchased an aftermarket snorkel that comes equipped with a purge button, but never could get used to using it and would still have to stick one of my fingers down the mask to push water out. Since Tusa TM-5700 mask has an exhaust valve, all I have to do is turn my head towards the surface while under water and let everything simply wash out. It couldn’t be easier. All in all, I am extremely happy with this mask and would not hesitate for a second recommending it to someone else (particularly anyone with glasses you want to keep dry). While pricy, this mask is definitely worth its price tag.

It feels amazing to wear the Tusa Liberator Plus scuba diving mask! I have never had a mask that fit so well and was so comfortable. The fact that I love about this mask is that can see so much better out of it too.

So to try it out became very important to us and we believe once you try it out, you will become a fan too. We decided to test out just how good this masks is, with the mask submerged in water and then we would head on out with the task of spending 20 minutes in an artificial ocean complete with seaweed clusters. Tasks included free-diving, swimming and of course webbing on some crustaceans. Experienced scuba diving adventure or complete newbie! The mask worked as described!

I was looking for a mask that was durable and would last a long time. The Liberator Plus has a tough polycarbonate frame and tempered glass lenses. It also has a double-feather edge rubber skirt, which creates a better seal around my face. Overall, I am very happy about the durability and comfort level of this mask.

Difference Between new and the Older Models of Tusa Liberator Plus scuba diving mask

I was using an older model from the Tusa. Recently, I switched to the newer model and I noticed a few differences. The new model has a lower profile design, which gives me a much wider field of view. It also has a softer silicone skirt, which is more comfortable and doesn’t leak as much. Overall, I am really happy with the new mask and would not go back to the old one!

The biggest difference is the field of view. The older model had a smaller field of view, which made it more difficult to see everything around me. The newer model has a much wider field of view, which makes it much easier to take in my surroundings.

Another difference is the fit. The older model didn’t fit as snugly to my face, which allowed water to leak in more easily. The newer model Tusa TM-5700 mask fits much better and does not leak at all.

Finally, the newer model is much more comfortable to wear for extended periods of time. The older model tended to rub against my face and become uncomfortable after a while. The newer model is much softer and doesn’t cause any discomfort.

Overall, I am very happy with my decision to switch to the newer model of the Tusa Liberator Plus mask. It has made a world of difference in my diving experience.

When I was looking for this mask, I was concerned about the price. I had read that the Tusa Liberator Plus scuba diving mask was one of the more expensive masks in the market. However, after using the mask, I can say that it is worth every penny. The mask is extremely comfortable and fits my face perfectly and it cost me only $55 on Amazon. Overall, I am very happy with my purchase and would recommend this mask to anyone!
