IST ProEar Mask Review
I have been a scuba diver for many years but never had the opportunity to use a mask. I was very excited to try out the IST ProEar Dive Mask, and it did not disappoint.
The first thing that struck me about it is how comfortable it feels. The liner inside is soft and feels like you are wearing nothing at all. It really does feel like you are wearing a pair of regular goggles!
The next thing I noticed is how easy it is to get on and off. The mask has an adjustable head strap with a quick-release buckle that makes it easy to adjust while on your head—no need to fumble with straps while you’re underwater!
I also love how clear the view through these goggles is you can see everything in crystal-clear detail! The double lens system allows for maximum visibility without fogging up or letting water seep in from below or above.
Build Quality
I have used other dive masks on occasion and have always found that they are not as durable as the IST ProEar. When I first started diving, I would buy cheaper masks because of the cost difference. However, after a few months of using these cheaper masks, I noticed that they would begin to leak and become foggy from the salt water.
This mask doesn’t have these problems. It is built with a thick silicone skirt that prevents water from leaking into the mask itself. The tempered glass lens also helps prevent fogging during your dives by allowing moisture to be released through small holes at the top of the lens without affecting your visibility significantly during your dives.

I’m able to see clearly underwater without any fogging on the lens or distortion on my vision due to pressure changes while diving deep underwater like other masks might do if they are not designed properly or aren’t made well enough by their manufacturer so I wouldn’t recommend this product just because it’s cheap (which it isn’t) because you don’t want something falling apart when you need it most during an accident like an accident where someone would need an emergency rescue operation in order for them to survive so please don’t buy products based on price alone.
